About Us
Justin Croxall is the former owner and operator of Bull Street Gourmet & Market in Charleston S.C. Prior to opening the original Bull Street Gourmet, Croxall gained well-rounded experience in front- and back-of- house operations in restaurants throughout the country. A native of Chattanooga, TN, Croxall developed an interest in cooking at a young age and began what would become a self-taught career. Croxall furthered his restaurant experience by working in Charleston restaurants during his time at the College of Charleston. In 2006, Croxall opened his first solo venture, Bull Street Gourmet. He also produces Aurox wines, from the Willamette Valley. Croxall is co-owner and operator of Park Circle’s Stems & Skins.

Matt Tunstall is co-owner and beverage director of Stems & Skins. Tunstall’s wine education was influenced by hands-on experience. Tunstall has been a professional wine steward for over 15 years. He moved to San Francisco after college to study food and wine where he had the opportunity to work with many top chefs and sommeliers. He has assisted in organizing beverage programs from classic to funky. Tunstall moved to the Charleston area in 2009, and has worked at the Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island Golf Resort and then headed up the wine program at Husk Restaurant for the past 4 years as the sommelier.
